In the Creative School committee, we would like to remind you who will be participating in a series of workshops in orchestra music in the ISGR library, that they will start this week and be led by the conductor Ron Davis Alvarez, from El Sistema and The Dream Orchestra.
It will happen this Wednesday at 14-15, so it’s good if you bring your own musical instrument if it’s possible. (Elin and Atie will help out to store them safely during the day.) The Creative School committee would also like you to arrive a bit before 14 o’clock so we could start at 14. Ron has also asked you who got the opportunity to bring music stands, since the school only got two. He said you could also borrow from a friend. Otherwise it’s ok to show up without any music stand.
The workshops will happen during the following days (see below). You will then be away from your regular lesson to instead do a workshop:
- Wednesday April 19th, At 14-15. Workshop.
- Wednesday April 26th At 14-15. Workshop.
- Wednesday May 17th. At 14-15. Workshop.
- Monday May 22nd. At 15-17. Workshop and Concert.
The workshop is open for all students who want and are playing a musical instrument or read music to some extent in grade 7, 8 and 9. We hope you will have fun and enjoy this unique learning experience a lot!
